Bitz football rules:
periods, lines & interruptions.

Start with the exact market and period. A match result, qualification bet, whole-goal total and quarter handicap can settle differently.

Independent affiliate publication. Published rules and hypothetical arithmetic, not an accepted wager or an account settlement decision. Adults 18+ and local legal age in permitted locations only.

Scheduled play is different from qualification.

The Bitz betting rules give priority to the exact market rules, then sport rules, then general rules (§I.3.10). Soccer §II.1.1 and result §I.5.1 use the scheduled halves plus stoppage time, excluding extra time and shootouts unless specified. Do not assume every scheduled match has the same duration.

Stoppage time is time added to a scheduled half. Extra time is an additional phase that may be played to decide an advancing team. They are not interchangeable. “To Qualify” and “To Lift Trophy” (§I.5.3) include the necessary advancement stages; ordinary match 1X2 does not automatically do so.

Hypothetical example: 1–1 after scheduled play plus stoppage; Team A later advances on penalties
Market, if offered with this scopeWhat the example means
Ordinary match 1X2The scheduled-time result is a draw. Team A’s later advancement does not turn the match-result Team A selection into a win.
To Qualify: Team ATeam A advances in this example, so that selection wins under the qualification market’s applicable rules.
Draw No Bet: Team AFor the scheduled-time draw, the relevant Draw No Bet provision (§I.5.3) refunds rather than treating later advancement as a match win. Verify the market’s stated period.

A period label matters elsewhere too: the second-half correct-score rule (§I.5.6.4) starts that period at 0–0, rather than using the cumulative full-match score. Read the exact period before applying a result.

At two goals, 2.0 is different from 2.5.

A total is a line for the number of goals in the stated period. Under §I.5.4, a half-goal line has no equal integer-goal result; a whole line can refund at equality; a quarter line divides the stake equally between the adjacent whole and half lines.

Assume a valid market, the stated period completed and exactly two counted goals
SelectionConditional outcome€20 hypothetical stake
Over 2.5Two is below 2.5: loss€0 returned; €20 net loss
Over 2.0Equality: refund/void under the whole-line rule€20 stake returned; €0 profit
Over 2.25Half Over 2.0, half Over 2.5: half refund, half loss€10 refunded + €0 = €10 returned; €10 net loss

The figures illustrate line settlement only, without separate charges. These are not offered prices or predictions. A refund is returned stake, not winnings. The relevant period, event validity and interruption provisions still apply; two goals visible on a live screen do not by themselves settle every market.

An adjusted draw can mean different things.

A handicap adjusts the selected team’s score for the market calculation. European three-way handicap includes an adjusted-draw selection. Asian whole/half handicap is two-way; equality on a whole line can return the stake. Do not transfer the European draw-selection logic to an Asian push.

Assume Team A wins the applicable period by exactly one goal
Market/selectionAdjusted resultConditional settlement
European three-way, Team A −1Adjusted score is a drawThe handicap-draw selection wins; the Team A selection does not. This is not an Asian refund.
Asian Team A −1.0Equality after adjustmentStake refund; no profit
Asian Team A −1.5Team A is behind after adjustmentLoss
Asian Team A −0.75Equal stake split: −0.5 and −1.0Half win on −0.5, half refund on −1.0

Hypothetical money example: take a €20 stake on Asian −0.75 at assumed decimal odds 2.00, split as €10 on −0.5 and €10 on −1.0. If Team A wins the relevant period by one, the winning half returns €20 including its €10 stake; the other €10 is refunded. Total return is €30 and net profit is €10, not €30. This assumes ordinary valid settlement with no adjustment or separate charge; no such bet or price was tested.

A quarter line does not mean a quarter of the stake is at risk. It means an equal split across adjacent half-step lines. Check the sign, selected team, period and exact wording, not just the number.

A match that never started is a different case.

The general delay and interruption provisions have distinct conditions. Soccer §II.1.1 directs interrupted matches to §I.6.2.2. Read the operative market and sport exceptions before concluding a bet is void.

  • Unstarted cancellation or delay (§I.6.2.1): official cancellation voids bets under this clause. For a delayed event, the organizer’s update/rescheduling must occur within 12 hours of the original scheduled start, and commencement must be within 48 hours of that original start for bets to stand. Without an update by 12 hours, bets are void under this provision. Do not reduce these combined conditions to “all bets stand for 48 hours.”
  • A started match is interrupted (§I.6.2.2): the general completion window is 48 hours from the official start, subject to the clause and applicable exceptions. Do not restart that clock from your login or turn it into a promised account-settlement time.
  • Completed periods or already-determined markets (§§I.6.2.2–6.2.3): some outcomes can stand even when other unsettled markets are void. Exceptions also cover officially long events exceeding 30 hours and overriding sport rules. An already-determined outcome is one that no possible future play can change; a team merely leading does not make a match-winner market determined. Pending interruption and final abandonment are different states.

For example, if an Over 2.5 goal market’s counted period has already reached three goals, its outcome may be already determined under the operative exception; a still-undecided match result is a different case. This is conditional rule-reading, not a verdict on a specific interruption. The period definition, validity of the counted goals and exact clause remain necessary.

Do not apply another sport’s cancellation window to Soccer. In particular, an esports-scoped passage in the general terms does not establish a football rule. Keep the rule URL, wording and check date with any question about your record.

Keep the exact market, not only the final score.

  1. Record the accepted bet ID, UTC time, market name and period, selection, line, accepted price and stake/currency.
  2. Keep the displayed result/status and any official-start or interruption information relevant to the clause.
  3. Save the rule URL and version or dated wording you relied on; explain which provision you want clarified.
  4. Use a verified official support route with sanitized evidence. Do not post credentials, full account information or payment details.

The general sportsbook workflow explains acceptance and account readiness; the support draft helps frame a factual query. Wallet withdrawals are separate from bet settlement. Our methodology explains evidence and affiliate limits; the independent Bitzhub review gives product context.

Verify current age/location conditions in the operator terms. Do not bypass restrictions. A successful page load is not permission to gamble, and this guide is not advice to bet more.

Read the exact market before deciding

If its period or settlement condition is unclear, pause and ask. Gambling can lose money.
